Copicut: The Deep Woods

Copicut Play Trail is a 1/4 mile out-and-back trail. Inspired by the Wampanoag word Copicut meaning “deep woods” the design uses threshold and scale change to shift perspective. Turning interpretive into imaginative, the play experience reimagines the traditional trail map leading visitors to the traces, tracks, and hideouts of the big woods.
