Harrison: Wildlife Garden

This cozy oasis in the city includes a textural shade garden edged by locally quarried purple toned flagging and features a sauna, furnished veranda, and custom boulder bird bath. This small space is home to shade loving native species: River birch and shrubs -- Pennsylvania Sedge, Myrica Gale, and Clethra hold the space. Lady Ferns and Maiden Ferns offer textural pops, while Meadow Rue, Penstemons, Bowmans Root, Rudbekia and trilliums wow with their blooms through the season. Wild Ginger and Albicans sedge hold the ground weaving through the flagging and edging the boulders.
